ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Margot Perkins
Margot Perkins grew up in the South Burnett and Western Queensland, where her deep connection to the landscape continues to inspire her art. Her works, both abstract and literal, seek to express peace and harmony with nature, each piece holding personal meaning and purpose.
Sue Rowsell
Brisbane-based artist Sue Rowsell left a 25-year architecture career to pursue painting full-time, focusing on botanical still life in oils. Inspired by foliage from her local surroundings, she captures the beauty of nature through vibrant compositions that celebrate colour, pattern, and life.
Wild Canary can be found amongst the beautiful grounds of Brookfield Gardens. It is the perfect home for a botanically-minded bistro. Wild Canary supports local emerging artists by hosting exhibitions throughout the seasons. Join our mailing list online for pre-exhibition sales and events
