Golden Hour is an invitation to hit the "reset button." In this collaborative exhibition at Wild Canary, Brisbane artists Giovanna Scott and Vanessa Wallace offer an antidote to the daily grind, trading the modern hustle for a sense of quiet nostalgia and well-being.
The collection focuses on "haphazard beauty", the simple joy of a sun-drenched vase or a garden flower, to help you find grounding in the messy details of everyday life. Giovanna Scott uses signature mismatched geometry to celebrate life’s little imperfections, while Vanessa Wallace curates moody, quintessentially Australian still-life scenes.
Together, their work captures that magical transition from the energy of the day into the stillness of the night. You’ll leave feeling refreshed and deeply present, with a renewed appreciation for the fleeting, golden moments we so often rush past.
