FEE BISSETT

“SHE PREFERS SUNSHINE”

Friday 8th August - Monday 8th September

Fee Bissett is an emerging artist based in the Gold Coast Hinterland, known for her intuitive approach to painting and deep connection to the natural world. Working in acrylic and mixed media, her layered works blend soft romanticism with bold, playful textures and harmonising collage. Often incorporating abstract elements, Fee’s pieces evoke a strong sense of atmosphere and place. Largely self-taught, she studied under the late RQAS fellow Mal Hodges and has received multiple awards through RQAS and community exhibitions.

‘She Prefers Sunshine’ marks her second solo exhibition at Wild Canary, inspired by gardens near and far.

Wild Canary can be found amongst the beautiful grounds of Brookfield Gardens. It is the perfect home for a botanically- minded bistro. Wild Canary supports local emerging artists by hosting exhibitions throughout the seasons. Please join our mailing list online for pre-exhibition sales and events.
